    Huitt-Zollars’ Dallas, TX office has a full-time opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our corporate office team.  The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively manage time/deadlines, work independently, handle various accounting functions, and work in a team environment. 

     

    HZ is a leading full service design firm providing innovative planning, engineering, architectural design, construction and program management, and design-build project delivery to our clients in the public and private sector. We provide quality solutions for our clients and employment opportunities to qualified talent.

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Monthly sales tax reporting
    • Property tax renditions
    • Bank/General ledger reconciliations
    • A/R, A/P and General ledger support
    • Cash management and monitoring

     Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 
    • 2-4 years of accounting experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to manage deadlines and various accounting functions
    • Ability to work independently and with a team
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
