    Hoskin Ryan (Huitt-Zollars' Phoenix, AZ office) has an excellent full-time Civil Engineer Graduate EIT opportunity.  This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate with 0-3 years’ experience who would like to join an award winning firm and work collaboratively with a fantastic team of civil engineers. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the project manager in a team environment providing engineering design for a variety of land development, planning, hydrology, and survey projects.

     Requirements:

    • Produce design plans of streets, storm drain, sewer, water and reclaimed water for various commercial land development and residential projects
    • Plan production will include preparations of plan and profiles of streets and various other underground utilities common to land development
    • Assist project manager with of design plans, specifications, construction support, cost estimating, geotechnical coordination
    • Produce design and construction drawings incorporating information from supervisor, research data and consultants for various projects including land development grading, utility, drainage, paving plans, etc.
    • Research materials and assemblies for design and construction drawings as directed by supervisor
    • Conduct site visits and assist with documenting findings
    • Attend, record, and distribute meeting minutes, and assist with general project correspondence
    • Compose and prepare graphic materials for presentations and documents 

    Requirements

    • B.S. in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
    • 0-3 years’ related experience
    • Advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation is a plus
    • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods and techniques
    • Ability to prepare civil engineering documents and specifications for projects
    • Ability to read redlines and modify drawings accurately
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment 
    • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
