Overview

Huitt-Zollars’ Denver office has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Civil CAD Designer to produce civil engineering designs for transportation, urban highway and site development projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Produce CAD drawings and design layouts for private and public projects with direction from project managers and engineers
  • Work collaboratively with project team to execute projects on time and on budget
  • Review design layouts to find and resolve problems involving compatibility with basic design concepts
  • Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make corrections to drawings as requested by project manager/project Engineer

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in design and production of plan, specification and estimate (PS&E) documents for transportation and urban highway projects as well as site development plans for public agency review and approval
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience in Microstation and Geopak/Inroads a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and word
