Overview

Huitt-Zollars’ Dallas, TX office has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Civil Land Development Project Manager. Candidate must be a Civil Engineer with Texas PE registration and have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in residential and commercial land development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Produce plans and manage residential and commercial land development projects from inception to design and construction
  • Execute business development, develop and maintain successful client relationships
  • Develop project proposals, scopes, budgets, and manage execution and tracking of projects
  • Lead a team of engineers, designers and technicians in commercial and residential projects
  • Manage the proposal process in the procurement of projects
  • Ensure projects are completed within client specifications, budgets and schedules

 Requirements:

  • BSCE Degree
  • Licensed and Registered P.E. in Texas
  • Minimum 8 years of engineering design experience in residential and commercial land development
  • Proven ability to market clients and secure contracts
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency 
  • Knowledge of local design ordinances and standards
  • Previous business development experience preferred
