Huitt-Zollars’ Dallas corporate office has a full-time opportunity for a Billing Specialist with at least 3 years of billing experience. The candidate should be detail orientated and have a can-do attitude, strong organizational and customer service skills. This position is a great opportunity for someone pursuing a career in Accounting.



  • Coordinate administration of billing procedures with Project Managers in compliance with company policies
  • Draft and finalize client invoices monthly for Project Manager approval
  • Communicate billing issues effectively and courteously
  • Provide Status of billing for various reports
  • Compile supporting documentation
  • Research and respond to client billing inquiries
  • Contact clients to obtain special billing requirements
  • Maintain accurate filing records


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of billing experience
  • Completion of some college-level accounting courses preferred
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet important deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Keen eye for detail and knowledge of accounting processes
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Adobe
  • Experience with Deltek Vision a plus
  • Ability to complete detailed assignments accurately
  • Ability to learn, communicate, and perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
  • environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A motivated self-starter that’s ambitious and dependable
  • Ability to identity problems and provide solutions
