Overview

Huitt-Zollars' Dallas/Ft. Worth Corporate Office has an immediate opportunity for a Business Development Coordinator experience in the Architecture/Engineering Industry. This role will Produce and coordinate production of company’s business development materials, including qualification submittals, proposals and presentations for clients; cooperate in timely maintenance of systems for supporting business development efforts, including project data, biographical information and experience of key personnel, and photography; contribute to other communication tools such as in-house and external promotional materials and brochures; provide assistance to Managers and Principals in business development initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Helps develop strategy, creates concepts for and coordinates production of business development materials such as proposals and presentations, etc.
  • Provides Principals, Market Sector Leads, and Managers with marketing materials as requested
  • Assembles proposals and qualifications submittals; Coordinates with Principals, Market Sector Leads, and Managers to create and select content; Works with consultants to collect their information.
  • Tracks deadlines and updates; Packages submittal and sends to client ensuring final submittal includes all necessary information that meets client requirements
  • Maintains the library of visual and collateral materials
  • Assembles and produces project sheets and Firm overview sheets
  • Manages continuous updates on Firm profiles, overviews, project lists, project sheets, resumes, etc.
  • Communicates knowledge of production resources and requirements to Business Development Resources Manager and Suggests useful refinements on existing procedures
  • Maintains marketing database on projects and prospective jobs/clients
  • Participates in weekly Business Development meetings and supports the Go/NoGo process
  • Manages design award submittals and processes with Business Development Resources Manager

 Requirements:  

  • Bachelors' Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 5 year’s marketing experience in the architecture/engineering field preferred
  • Understanding of basic technical aspects of the A/E industry preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Good eye for graphics and composition with initiative and ability to create and implement concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with varying personalities internally, as well as with vendors and clients
  • Must be detail oriented, accurate in work, organized, capable of prioritizing workload to complete multiple tasks on time, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient software skills including MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design)
  • PC literacy and database management experience
  • Ability to contribute to develop and implement winning proposal/presentation strategies
  • Interest in architecture and design
