Huitt-Zollars’ Rio Rancho, New Mexico office has an immediate full-time career opportunity for a Survey Party Chief to perform all phases of land surveying including construction, boundary and topographic surveying.



  • Lead survey crew in daily activities
  • Train survey crew proper survey procedures
  • Maintain safety procedures for all survey personnel
  • Ensure proper procedures are in place when transferring field data to office
  • Oversee maintenance and operation of all surveying equipment
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as Party Chief in construction, boundary and topographic surveying 
  • Experience in topographic, planimetric and boundary surveying
  • Knowledge of RTK and Static surveying procedures
  • Familiar with robotic total stations, leveling procedures, and coordinate geometry
  • Knowledge of Trimble Hardware and Access software
  • Valid New Mexico Driver License with clean driving record
