Overview

Huitt-Zollars’ Irvine, CA office has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Survey Technician that has 1 year of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D in construction.  This role will assist the Survey Crew Chief in all land surveying projects for commercial and residential contruction.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform survey tasks in preparation of ALTA, boundary, topographic, construction and special surveys
  • Analyze legal descriptions for preparation of maps
  • Draft record of surveys and of topographic surveys, subdivision and exhibit maps
  • Research record documents
  • Provide calculations for field staking and support of field crews
  • Review field notes and perform basic calculations of record boundaries

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of AutoCAD experience
  • Proficient in Civil 3D
  • Technical training in ACAD
  • Knowledge of survey field procedures
  • Valid California Driver license
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • LSIT preferred
